Rotterdam - 22 May 2006 - AND Automotive Navigation Data, leading provider of worldwide digital mapping data for 'in-car' and personal navigation, has released new map data of Slovenia. The new digital maps show the first results of the expansion of AND's Indian production facility thereby accelerating the enrichment of the worldwide database enabling AND to meet the users' increasing needs.
The map includes all necessary navigation features and are in line with the high quality specifications as defined by AND in cooperation with its customers. The map of Slovenia covers almost 24,000 kilometres linking all Slovenian cities to the road network. The cities Ljubljana, Celje, Kranj and Maribor are included on street level allowing door-to-door navigation.
Furthermore, many Points of Interest are included such as parking lots, petrol stations, parks and train stations to make navigation even easier.
